Overview

C.A.R.T.S. is public transportation for Cullman County, Alabama. The C.A.R.T.S. Fleet is comprised of 33 vehicles ranging in size from a standard van to a 30 passenger bus.

The office hours are 6:30am to 4:00pm on Mondays through Fridays.

C.A.R.T.S. buses perform a multitude of routes during the course of a work week.

A. Demand response: Monday - Friday (with prior days notice)

Fare: Rates based upon age, miles and disabilities. $1.00 - $5.00 with

o charge for second stop.

B. Shopping routes: $3.00 per person for four stops

Monday - Corinth, Battleground
Tuesday - Welti / Center Hill, Etha, 278 West
Wednesday - Brushy Pond, Cold Springs
Thursday - West Point, Vinemont, Arkadelphia
Friday - Holly Pond, Crane Hill

Demand response requests are also scheduled during corresponding shopping routes.

C. Senior Citizen Center Routes to the following centers and demand response requests

Cullman, Hanceville, Colony, Holly Pond, Brushy Pond, Crane Hill, Jones Chapel, Center Hill, Fairview, and Dodge City.
