CULLMAN COUNTY COMMISSION
SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
July 6, 2009

CALL TO ORDER AND WELCOME
A Special Called Meeting of the Cullman County Commission was held July 6, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Chairman Graves called the meeting to order.

ESTABLISH QUORUM
Present were Chairman James Graves, Commissioner Doug Williams and Commissioner Wayne Willingham. 

NEW BUSINESS

Chairman Graves stated Good Ole Boy Properties, LLC (Advanced Rotors) has requested a tax abatement for an expansion project at their facility located at 273 County Road 520 in Hanceville.  The total investment will be $145,000 with an addition of 12 jobs.  The request covers a sales and use tax exemption on the building and equipment.  Education tax is not an exempt item of the abatement.   Commissioner Williams made a motion to grant the tax abatement for Good Ole Boy Properties, LLC (Advanced Rotors).  Commissioner Willingham seconded.  Upon a voice vote the motion passed unanimously.
