Qualifications
There is a 10 day cut-off before every election for
registration. If you become 18 years old in the 10 day cut-off
period, you may register early prior to the 10 days.
Absentee Voting
A voter who will be out of the county on election day may cast an absentee ballot in
person on one of two days before the election or the Tuesday
prior to the election.
Where - The voter may cast such a ballot at the:
- County Courthouse
- Hanceville City Hall
- Good Hope Town Hall
Time - On-site voting hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Procedure - The voter signs a poll list, obtains and then casts the absentee
ballot that is notarized or witnessed by election officials at the polling places.
